I've put one of my dragon heads up for auction, a red and gold beast who took rather a lot of painting to get the effect I wanted.
The front is constructed from soft cast polyfoam, the back is slush cast latex . The front of the mask hinges from the rear, and fastens with Velcro either side to accommodate a wide range of head sizes. The wearers eyes are exposed for all around vision, and the jaw moves with the wearers.
You can find the auction here - http://www.furbid.ws/cgi-bin/auctio.....item=232357652 - Starting bid is at $120, which kinda reflects the amount of work I put into this beastie.
I took a bunch of photos in daylight, then a couple more in artificial light to show the colors off better.
Im also prepared to paint up masks in custom colors and designs. Message me if your interested. =O)

Was gonna comment on twitter (not sure you follow me though! ) but that's some really fantastic detail! Personally thinking you're selling yourself short with $120 but then again it depends on your own opinion and also the audience you're advertising to (not everyone has that much disposable income n..n)
Hope it sells, for more!

The original sculpt - I really don't know. I was working on it on and off for about 4 months, a few hours here and there, then a few days break while i forgot how crazy i must be to do so many scales.
The paint job - A couple of hours a day for a week or so. Getting a layer on, letting it dry overnight till I got the effect I was after.
