I don't think there are specific genders picked out for them, I don't think the original poem actually mentions what gender they might be, I think it's taken at face value that they are all male, that may even include vixen given that most drawings of them show them to have identical/matching antlers thus pertaining to them all being male. I chose CUpid to be female because I thought there should be more then one female reindeer
