The little gold crown, shiny and gleaming as if it had been wrought only yesterday, certainly had a regal allure to it; but Jasper did not, for one second, think that the simple act of wearing it would be an act of coronation in of itself. And yet - as his face suddenly began to swell with fat, as his feet and hands billowed out into squashy lumps studded with stubby digits, as every part of him expanded to almost impossible proportions, and as his streetwear shifted seamlessly into far more regal attire - that was exactly what he had to contend with. The Huge Kingdom had once again found a King, one who could fill its throne with ease - as if it had been made for his ponderous bulk all along.
