I made a nice box for the utensils I've previously made. It was a lot of work to put this thing together.
The copper accents are made from sheet copper and the box is made from 1/8th inch sheet steel. The legs were made from angle iron.
Since I decorated the lid with copper sassafras leaves I felt it would be nice to hew a piece of sassafras wood from a log into the tray piece within the box.
There wasn't much forging done for this project, just a lot of benchwork. Cutting, filing, bending, hole drilling, rivet hammering, sawing, etc
