Somehow the only way I can imagine them in this type of universe is with super powers.
Like here they just want to chill, but on the next page they get a signal like a call or something and then they have to sneak off so they can fight monsters somewhere else.
Looking at Lopa here I think she would definitely have ice powers and would get that one gutwrenching episode where we find out how her powers work and she has to be saved from herself and everyone cries every time they watch that episode.
Oh and Vermily is probably the comedic relief... OR SO WE THINK!
Right up untill she gets her own entire story arc!
I don't know why yet but she is VERY important!

I just started with the first sentence and then I had to restrain myself.
