Original Species: The Gullmincer
The Gullmincer is a highly aggressive and dangerous species of wyvern that inhabits the shorelines of the Vogelheim continent. It is the natural enemy of the Dire Seagull.
Typically, this wyvern flies above beaches and cliffsides, searching for large flocks of gulls or (for that matter) other sea birds. Once a sufficiently numerous flock is spotted, it will dive at high speed into the middle of it and lash out violently at anything it can reach. As it lashes out and flails midair, the razor-sharp spike on its body will injure or outright kill a large number of birds. Once that is done, all the wyvern needs to do, is to use its taloned feed scoop up its prey from the surface of the water (or beach), and feed at its leisure.
The violent behavior described above is what gave this aerial predator its name. With its whole body serving as a weapon, this wyvern is comparable to a flying meat blender.
It is crucial to stay away from this predator at all costs. To this flying beast, meat is meat... doesn't matter if it's bird meat or not.
