An alternate outfit I came up with for Rabbit, plus an original Hammer design! I really dig this look for him, honestly.
He hates the feeling of clothes constricting his belly, so he tends to either wear tops that are very loose over it or else just leave it uncovered, haha

I wish I could say something more helpful, but the honest truth is I don’t really have a “process” for it or anything! It’s sort of a combination of making the outfit up as I go and it just kinda… popping into my head, either wholesale or in response to some sort of “prompt” (i.e. “how would this character dress for this theme/event type?”)
I definitely don’t just design character outfits completely unconsciously or anything, and there are things I consciously take into consideration. Stuff like shape motifs, the context the outfit would be worn in, what the character would feel and look good wearing, etc.
Sorry I don’t have any brilliant tips or anything! Again, I don’t really have a bespoke “process” for it; just things I’m sure to take into consideration plus some observations of patterns in how I come up with things.
