This is a song I wrote back in college, it's really a two parter, but I like to think this (The second part, the first one's called Time and can be found on the Lauren album.) stands on its own as a song, as well. I wrote this, initially, about my frustration with not being able to break into the music scene very well. The lady symbolizes my hopes and dreams, and the attachment that nothing ever happens the way it is planned.
