Be careful what you ask for Ravi.
____________
Ravi was excited, Her friend Nathan had given her a Copy of Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess to play.
It had been ages since she last played the game and Nathan had an extra copy of the Wii Version, which was his personal favorite version of the game, lying around his place due to his hobby of buying and collecting Video games from various sources. Though he did say this copy came from an odd source. A recently closed oddities and nick nack store that had a liquidation sale where Nathan found the game along with a few others, all in really good condition and at really good prices, so he of course bought them with the intention of reselling them.
There were some notes to the games, attached and shuffled around the various games, indicating various curses and odd happenings with the games. But Nathan was sure it was flavor text for the store, to give buying the games a bit more flare. Ravi was inclined to believe her friend, she had seen some odd selling points for various Items. Most disappointingly a collar to make sure the wearer was indeed a good dog, which of course did nothing when she had tried it on.
Once home, she hooked up the Wii system Nathan had lent her, he had a spare and a Wii U so there was no big issue for her borrowing one of his, and popped the game into the Disc slot, selecting the disc channel with the remote and started up the game.
The game started up as normal, showing Link Riding Epona across the bridge of Eldin and the main theme started up as the camera shifted between various shots of Link and Epona riding across various parts of the Eldin field.
As she looked at the scenes, Ravi thought to herself
It would be fun to be Epona
For a while now, Ravi had been wanting to do a self TF of herself into the iconic horse from the Legend of Zelda, but between her Commission work, trades, and other personal art she had been putting off the Epona TF. Watching Epona on the screen, Ravi began daydreaming of being the horse. Riding across the fields of Hyrule, the wind in her mane, as she carried her rider on her strong back. She was so lost in her little daydream she had not notice the into scene had shifted to Wolf Link, being pulled out of her fantasy as the wolf version of the player character howled at a curtain of Twilight and the logo of the game appeared, telling her to press the A and B buttons to start the game. Shaking her fantasy out of her head, Ravi did as the game asked and and pressed the buttons to start the game.
The game select screen appeared and, of course, showed 3 empty files. Ravi quickly selected one and hit the start button and she was met with the Screen to name Link.
She was not interested in renaming the Hero of the story, and simply left him at Link and clicked the confirm button.
She was then met with the screen to Name Epona.
Oh yeah, She thought to herself Twilight Princess did let you rename Epona, she recalled from a video she watched a long time ago.
She stared at the screen for a second more, before noticing her hand had drifted to the backspace button and was already clearing out Epona’s name from the text box.
Welp She thought Might as well as she started typing a new name into the box.

Ravi
She put her own name into the box and nodded to herself, feeling incredibly giddy of naming a horse in a video game after her, and hit the confirm button. Once she did, her world went white.
The screen turned a bright white and nearly blinded her, she covered her eyes at the same time she no longer felt like she was sitting in her chair, and instead felt like she was floating. She also noticed she was no longer holding the game controller.
She uncovered her eyes and found herself floating in a large white void
“Wha-What is going on? Where am I?” she asked out into the void, hoping for a response, but none came.
At least, not in the way she expected.
She felt a pain in her hands, both starting to feel extremely stiff and sore. She looked down and watched with a bit of horror and amazement as her fingers curled and melted into each other and her hand while darkening into a large light grey hoof.
She watched in wonder as the bones in her arms painlessly rearranged themselves to an orientation better befitting a quadruped animal, like herself.
Herself? She thought to herself as her shoes faded into the void as her feet also morphed into a set of hooves, her legs following suit with her arms, no, her fore legs, the bones rearranging themselves and became her back legs.
She shook her head as her face pushed out into a muzzle, brown fur starting to grow, as her hair lost red coloring and shifted to white. What were these odd thoughts in her head? Arms? She didn have arms, her master and the other humans in the village did. But she was a horse, and she had only 4 strong legs!
Hew clothes followed suit with her shoes, as her body began to bulk out with pure muscle, befitting a strong mare like herself, as a long white tail grew out from her tail bone. She began to drift forward, the sensation of Gravity returning to her, as 4 large bundles of wood appeared on her being, Two tied up on her back where the saddle her Master usually rode on and the other 2 on either side on her large torso, as her neck extended out, also thick with muscle. Her fore hooves finally hit the ground as color returned to her vision and the sound of water flowing and cascading down began to enter her new large ears.
She found herself in a familiar spring, a Spring she knew was magical, and not far from where she stood, she saw two humans talking to one another. What they were saying made little sense to her, them being Human and her being a horse, But one of the voices was unmistakingly her Master.
That's right, they went out collecting wood for the village for fires, the air had been quite cold at night recently, and were taking a break at the Ordon Spring. Speaking of, she felt quite thirsty and walked to the edge of the spring to take a drink and paused for a moment.
Huh, did she see a red-haired human looking up at her from the water? She blinked her brown eyes and looked again and only saw the reflection of a horse looking back up at her. The human must have been her imagination, she had been wondering what it would be like to be a human recently. She gave a light shake of her head, it was a silly thought, to be Human, before stopping and getting a drink of the spring water. They would be on their way to the village soon, she hoped the weather would warm up , she really didn’t want to have to carry any more firewood.
