When two dragons are hurtling together at very high speeds, accidents happen. Sometimes happy accidents, as with the second civil war ultimately drawing to a close upon the unintentional ingestion the less fortunate of the two powerful dragons vying for the throne. It was fortunate, at least, that the draconic digestive system proved entirely capable of handling not just their fellow scaled reptile in their entirety, but also the jetpack they'd been wearing that was ultimately, to no small degree, responsible for their gurgling demise.

It was only sometime after doing the lighting I realized the fourth panel fails to account for the predatory dragon's harness and jetpack. Adding that shit in in retrospect would be a headache, so just assume in the time it took them to digest they eased it off someplace offscreen. I feel there's a few things I could've done better with this if I really embraced the perfectionist mindset and spent longer on it but it deserved being uploaded after so long, so I hurried it out tonight.

I still really fuckin love the dragon commander dragon if you can't tell. The original concept art for him, that is. I reeaaallly hope that the devs revisit the dragon commander premise with a bit more money and development time sometime in the future since the divinity franchise has hits its stride.
