You know, it's perfectly fine to not have a fursona, assuming you're doing it mostly because "that's just what people in the community do".
Alternatively, if you're simply having issue with narrowing down that hair/fur coloration/style, nothing wrong with simply having your 'sona being a fan of dyeing her hair/fur.
