Deva: "Don't worry, I know what I'm doing." *rubs Zira's head* "You'll be my fourth cat, and my third lioness." (pause) "Though the other three are from my world and fully feral, so you'll be my first talking cat." *scritches under her chin* "You can talk, right?"

Zira: "Yes... But I'd..." *sighs and murrs* "Dammit, that does feel good."
Deva: "Hee-hee." *keeps rubbing her* "It's okay to loosen up around me, you've got nothing to worry about. Like I said, you're not my first cat. Or my first Pride Lander for that matter."
Zira: "I... Wait, what?"
Deva: "In fact, I've got one of them right here." *picks him up* "Here, he can be your shadow while you're getting accustomed to living here." *tucks him into the pouch next to Zira*

Ed: "Ooh, hya-ha-ha... Ohh, ha-ha-haaaah."
Zira: (through clenched teeth) "Oh, hello..." *eye rolls* "I was wondering where you disappeared off to."
Deva: "You know each other?"
Ed: "Hee-hee, hya-hyah-haaaaah..." *nods*

Zira: "Are the others here too?"
Ed: "Heh-heh." *nods*
Deva: "Oh yeah, lots of them." *pets Zira's head* "I'll bet they'll all be really excited to see you again."

Deva: "Don't worry, you'll be fine. I'm sure Ed will have no problem taking care of you."

Deva: "Can we get you anything to help you feel more at home? Another towel, maybe make you a sandwich-"
Ed: "Pffft! Ha-HAAAAAAAH hyaa-hyaa-hyaah!!!"
Deva: "Alright, calm down Ed." *rubs his head* "Yes, that last one was deliberate. All kidding aside, Zira, it is completely safe here. For everyone. Nobody will eat you alive if they can't keep you alive."
Ed: "Heheh..." *licks Zira's face* "Ooh, heh-heh..." *winks at her*

Zira: "So... You're actually happy here?"
Ed: "Heheh... Heheheh..." *nuzzles and licks Deva's hand* "Mrowl..."
