After the defeat of He-Man at the hands of King Hiss, Eternia was without a guardian and vulnerable to the Snake Men's conquest. King Hiss began amassing an army with the snake curse converting the inhabitants into cold blooded servitude including some of the Masters such as Teela. those affected by the Snake Curse become more reptilian in body and mind pledging loyal to King Hiss until it is reversed. However there comes a point of no return, if after a couple of days the curse isnt lifted it becomes permanent. with no one to save them The snake curse in Teela and the others ran its course. Her body no longer able to withstand it, the curse brought her to its final phase. She felt a great stretch as her anatomy fundamentally changed transitioning from a mammal hybrid to a full reptile. her body lengthened and slimmed, Her face extended into a vicious maw as greenish skin shed off revealing scales and her legs fused together into one long prehensile stock forming her slithering tail. the former Master shed the last remnants of her humanity becoming a full Snake-Man in body and soul, another warrior for King Hiss' Serpent Army.
