Zariyah's introduction. She was the first introduced protagonist of Synodic Reboot, so it's fitting that she's also the first introduced in Synodic Link.

Her design has been revamped a bit for this comic, giving her outfit a bit of extra detailing to make her seem more like an adventurer, as well as lengthening her hair in the back and - as with all adlets in Synodic Link - much simplified hair dye patterns. In SR the hair color was in a more complex pattern, with specific shapes around it, but now it's just a simpler pattern. I feel it's easier to draw, looks nicer, and makes more sense from a biological perspective.

Also, she has three earrings in her left ear. This is a callback to the previous continuity where she suffered an ear piercing injury on a totem lathe. The original plan for SR was to have her eventually put earrings in after healing, so that idea lives on here.
