My personal project for this month; just wanted to make more pretty Luthien art but since it's September and Autumn is around the corner, I thought I'd do a bit of a flashback to her youth in the elven kingdom of Lindon. I've seen it depicted in multiple places as being covered in White Birch trees, so a canopy of golden leaves is fitting for this time of year. She is perhaps dancing to some hymn carried on the breeze, could be elven voices or just the song of the forest itself.

I may also be just a bit inspired by the new series on Amazon, which despite it's numerous other issues (that I'm not going to get into here), the scenery design is in my opinion quite good. From what I've seen so far, I don't really have any reason to complain about the overall look of the show, they spent a lot of money on it and it shows. Though the sets are checking the right boxes for me, I don't love the short-haired/slightly aged elves AT ALL, its probably the biggest gripe I have so far. >:/
