The Shugnivar Squad, also assembling as the Squad of Shugnivar and the Earth Ray Squad, is one of the Union's special units. The group is mainly engaged in anti-terrorist operations on the orders of the leader of the Union of United Socialist Republics and States (USUSRS), and also performs sabotage and other operations to defeat the enemy. It was formed in mid-3043 at the location of the missing leader of the Neutral Territories.

The leader is Sivill Anj Shugnivar, who was once a veteran of the Advescon War and it was his surname that was called the squad. Despite the fact that it is not particularly tactful, it gives out ideas of any plans related to operations.

The Squa is also subdivided into sub-squad: the main forces, weapons specialists, doctors and technologists.

Among them were personalities who became famous in subsequent events.

The squad participated not only in operations and sabotage, but also in various battles, including the Second Galactic War and the Insectoid Civil War (aka Insecto War). But the last war was disbanded due to half of the dead detachment and the uselessness of the detachment in any tasks.
