Once again, a random submission to prove I'm not dead! Sorry for the low-quality photo - phone camera with low light.

Feels good to build something. I like how this fits into my room. It's very hefty, weighed at 20.9 pounds on a scale I had lying around. And I think it does actually sound better than the original because of its isolating properties, yay. Project took about 35 hours, I'd estimate.

Body is birch ply and pine with a cherry veneer with tung oil. Sides are filled with sand to help isolation. Feet are also sand-filled, made out of rubber cane tips and caps found at Ace. Again, full process (along with plans) can be found here: http://www.audiokarma.org/forums/sh.....d.php?t=330544
