I think I finally came to a look that I'm happy with for my new protagonist, Aardrich (Aard)
Drawing a serious looking 12 y o hero is a bit more challenging than I thought at first..
Huge leather poncho, slightly too big clothes and utility belt feels right.

Actually yes! In a rather interesting way, but I can't say much more without spoiling major plot elements xD
The young life of Aard is going to be a somewhat more family-friendly adventure. There's still going to be elements of death and violence, but in a more toned down way. It's going to be a story aimed towards a younger audience. Think Avatar tlA or the Wolf Brothers book series.
