It's about dark time I get these two up!
Living at a comfy thirty-five and as much at home behind a computer screen as he is in snow and deep pines and Solin is a large man, with a similar personality. He's more fitting as an elk instead of a reindeer. For the most part he's pretty steady, loves a good gaming night. Plays a tanky druid in his friends DnD Group. The rest of the time he heads either working on prosthetic development or finding pleasure in his handful of passion projects and hobbies. He really likes mind turners, those fun games or puzzles that make you think. Likewise, he enjoys strategy-based board games. Movies with friends but not usually on his own less he's hunted down a special old classic. For outside activities, there are, a lot. He likes to hike, he really likes wood carving, he doesn't mind a bit of hunting and fishing but does it as much for resource or the help maintain a healthy population of animals in his local town-span. He knows how to and actively maintain his own smokehouse, for smoking his catches. Because he likes to hike when it's cold (he's temp runs rather high so it's harder for him to hike in summer, her prefers winter and autumn hikes) he's learned how to cross-country ski and also snowshoe. He's honestly a very active and life engaging man.
As I mentioned he has a rather host of friends. (Tessa, Vandris, Ibisu, Hunter and Caramel of my characters. Sometimes Jezz but they are kinda knew and oddly shy about the group.) They typically play outdoor activities together as well, be it hiking, tag, frisbee, hide-an-seek, LARP or some combination of these things. It's always a good time and the house that Solin and Vandris is sorta a group gathering spot. Did I mention he's a good cook? Yeah just a solid buck over all!
Solin lives with his best friend and roommate, Vandris. They met in college and have stayed close both for company and logical living. She was running track while he was studying, and it really impressed him. He asked her to lunch, she pulled him into a gaming tourney the rest of was history. I'll post her next and tell you all about her!
