Reminds me of the Guilty Gear character Zato-1: http://www.fightersgeneration.com/c.....s/zato-rel.jpg
In the game, Zato gave up sight to gain the power to control a shadow creature named "Eddie". He was killed in battle and now Eddie controls the lifeless body of Zato-1.
Anyhow, neat concept. :)
