Venus, the second planet in the solar system is like earths bad twin. The thick carbon dioxide atmosphere creates a runaway greenhouse effect that causes deadly hot surface temperatures. Extremely high pressure is further detrimental to life. In the upper atmosphere however where pressure and temperature values are more moderate, the conditions are better. Here blimps would work even better than in earths atmosphere. Just remember to bring your own supply of oxygen. And stay above the clouds of sulfuric acid.

I tried to implement the same techniques I usually use for painting planets and moons for painting characters. It didn’t work out the way I had hoped, but whatever. Worth a try.

Also, this is the last piece of personal art from my pile. Next post will be the first request. I’m currently working on request number 7
