Whether it is the deception and self-sabotage that won't allow you to accept that you are part of a group, or circumstances that make impossible the objective of getting closer to those whom you want to be around and care-about, the effect is essentially the same; you endure the cruel mockery to being able to watch what you cannot partake in, or you leave—the ignorant sorrow of isolation more bearable then being subjected to such torture.
Here is to everyone who could never let themselves fit-in even when they were already part of a group, who struggled to feel relevant or involved, who couldn't feel the love they know they are surrounded by, or who put the barrier there to protect themselves and now can't bring themselves to remove it.
