I haven't talked much about Atlas's backstory, but a fact about her is that shes a shapeshifter! Generally though her form is constantly in flux, slightly different height, constantly flip flopping between masc and fem. etc.

Sometimes though she likes to try out fun new things, like a ponytail! Something shes seen her friend Damien rocking. Who doesn't love a nice head of (messy) hair to run through some simulated wind :3
