Yes yes, i know. I promised a Alliance Battleship, put this here was done sooner.

In the Second War year, the Alliance started to hold their ground and with new Carriers and Battleships joining their ranks, Things started to get better! For a brief month, some Alliance Leaders even sayd it was time to push the Void Born Empire back. After all, the Imperial "Fang"-Class Battleships and Carriers became now Easy pickings for the new Battleships. Against better judgement, a Counteroffensive was started.....wich was stopped as abruptly as it started! The New Ships of the Alliance meet a also new Imperial Warship Class in Orbit over Glandos 9, The "Decima"-Class Battleship!

This Battle nearly not happend, then the "Decima"-Class nearly never got built. Many years before the War, two Imperial Shipyards wanted to build the next Generation of Imperial Battleships to replace the "Dreadnaught"-Class in that role. Both Shipyards entered the Competion. Unfortunatly for Jatrona Drive Yards, they lost against the Design, wich would later be named the "Fang"-Class, mostly because the "Fang"-Class was Cheaper to produce. But the High ups of Jatrona Drive Yards where convinced of their Ship and take a risky gamble, by building a small Flottila on their own costs. This 16 Battleships firstly defended their "Birthplace", before the Flottila was send as "Gift" to Hunting Group 17. They quickly proved themself as capably Warships and their Octuplet Turbolaser Turrets turned many Ships to floating Space debris. The Fact the "Decima" had build in Repulsor Units and could thanks to them support Planetary invasions Planetside was also a big plus point for the Ship. Around this Time, the War with the Galactic Alliance became more intense and the cheaper "Fang"-Class draw unwanted attention of the Naval Highcommand on itself. It turned out, its Cheaper Pricetag came with several Weaknesses nobody firstly noticed and the Alliance learned this Weaknesses very quickly! Something needed to be done and quick, before the Frontline crumbles.

The Positiv Results of the "Decima"-Class were considered a God send and Jatrona Drive Yards was immidiatly ordered to go on Full scale Massproduction of the "Decima"-Class. It came in handy that Jatrona Drive Yards had Shipyards all over the Empire, so the transition from other Battleships to the "Decima" was mercifully fast. Around the time it looked the Centerline of the Alliance Front would collapse, 3 Flottilla's were ready and got rushed to meet the Alliance Fleet over Glandos 9. The Carnage....was horrible. It was a total mess and Battleships fired at Point blank range at each other! Ships collided with each other and burning Wrecks make it even Harder to fight. In the middle of the Battle it became clear, the Alliance Fleet was totally outgunned. The Octuplet Turrets of the "Decima"-Class pulverized lesser Alliance Ships simply and tore large chunks out of Battleships. A Day later, the Alliance Fleet was in full retreat, with noting achived and many valuable ships lost. Sure, the Imperial Fleet lost also many Ships in that engagment, including "Decima"-Class Ships, but this Battle proved the "Decima" a superior ship over the "Fang"-Class, who was reclassified as Battlecruiser and put in the Second line, behind the "Decima", wich had now earned her place in the First line of Combat....
