They stood alone in the night - the snow falling around them and on top of them and happiness was all but surrounding them. Kumori had never been happier than at Xiod's side. Never. His warmth was fighting the cold weather away and it made her feel safe. No matter what his warmth and keen mind would keep her protected, he'd promised her that much. And she knew he could keep his word. It was a blizzard outside - that was for sure and it seemed that the three layer coats they both possessed made it so that neither of them felt the chill.
Love was in the air. No one could deny it.
"I love you - Kumori." Xiod murmured as he turned and rested his head on hers.
"I love you too. Xiod." Kumori murmured back.
And for hours - they stood in the pure silence of the night -able to just enjoy eachother's company.
