The problem? People who got their car stuck in the road (is that possible? Yes, when it's not really a road, but rather a BOWL) would get out of their cars, only to lose their shoes to the super sticky and deep soft mud. It was quite literally a shoe vacuum. These dirty poor folk would tread away with NOTHING but the dirt on their feet.
