[New OC for the next era of my universe, taking place around 2040~]

With technology evolving and changing, growing more advanced in the world, it was inevitable for automation. A.I, drones and the like to work their way into daily lives. For many, it brings more convenience and ease of access and use.. to others, it results in their livelihood being ruined as they are replaced without a care, the skills they honed over the years overtaken by A.I implemented to save costs, and increase user satisfaction.

Disposed of and without a job, many would feel such anger or hatred towards the bosses or the people, but one man targeted his anger at the technology itself. It was useful, easy, comfortable... too much so, and as it would grow more advanced, it would continue taking over jobs, taking away the autonomy of the people.

With an innate potential for powers, this passion manifested itself in this man as the ability to control the electronics around him, corrupt code, take control from the A.I that had cost him his livelihood. With such power, he could live an easy life, hacking banks to siphon funds, or cause such death to those in charge... but instead, he wants to give the people a lesson. The technology around them has the potential to be dangerous, if not for taking over their lives, then by having someone take over the tech that surrounded them.

With his powers requiring siphoned energy from his surroundings, the heart of the city was first plunged into darkness as the lights shut off, monitors and screens shutting down, cars coming to a halt.

When the lights came back on, screens displayed an image of a hooded man. His declaration was simple and clear as drones, cars, all electronics started to malfunction and break down around them. He was going to ensure his lessons to the people were clear, ensuring no one was mortally wounded or killed.. he wasn't a villain in his eyes, after all, his name being the same as the warning of his arrival.

A total Blackout.

With the power to effortless manipulate technology around him, influencing something as minor as an alarm clock to bank systems and cars, Blackout wreaks havoc, hoping to build distrust and fear of technology that can overtake society, or can be forced to be used against them.
