But one got through an forced the pregnant Penta to defend the defenseless towns people but the wound she received in the fight was to severe she bleed out and died shortly after Gabriel was distraught burning with hatred and rage.

With the loss of his wife an child
he would eventually find a way to take the fight to the demons getting the attention of a lesser centurion and would rush the portal opened by the demon and killed everything in his path
