Ashplakh is the oldest member of the tribe, and the only goblin in the Vrackashal clan. Despite his advanced age, Ashplakh is still healthy, hale and quick on his feet. He has a slash on his chest and crush marks on the left side of his head from the battle of Dagorlad. Ashplakh later fought in and survived the battle of the 5 armies, making off with a whole chariot of dwarven weapons and armor.


Ashplakh's many years of adventure and work in Eastern human courts left him with a firm grip of reading, mathematics and blacksmithing. Bouncy and energetic, Ashplakh is mischievous, friendly and talkative with those he befriends, seen as a dirty old man with a heart of gold. Although deadly in battle, Ashplakh is content to enjoy a peaceful old age. Described as lightning with legs, Ashplakh literally leaps from foe to foe, using his small size to his advantage. Ashplakh has known Shagrat since the Uruk's birth, and acts as his advisor, just as he did for Shagrat's mother.
