The clouded leopard does standard cat stuff, as do all large cats. If you have a feline like I do watch it and you will notice that they are small "big" cats.
A domestic cat hunts more prey than all the big cats combined. From bugs to other cats. Yet they don't eat all of it unless they are wild. Nothing like finding a half devoured thing when you leave to go to work. Domestic cats are the only feline to hunt for the hell of it. Just like we do.
Wow that was a rant huh.
Of course that's just my opinion I could be wrong.

Oi my cat is happy too. Although I use her a lot to "experiment" on how she reacts to new stuffs so forth and so on. I would never hurt her though EVER. No one give me shit on that. Cats are smarter than conventional science give them credit for. They learn from us I think.
As much as I love science. Too many scientists seek to reduce everything to numbers and standards. Intelligence is perhaps one of the hardest things to quantify. Even in people there is no truely universal measure of intelligence, some of the "dumbest" people can excel at things the most "brilliant" cannot begin to comprehend.
I thoroughly love watching animals work their way through puzzles or things they don't understand. Watching any living creature learn is a fascinating experience. They do learn from us, but if we allow them, there is a lot for us to learn from them also.
