The sun was out without a cloud in the sky. And this was the same day that the hero association Isabel was with decided to hold a photoshoot, as well as giving people a chance to interact or play volleyball against the heroes present before the Summer was done. As the day was winding down, Connie and Isabel were able to hang out with one another, getting the chance to have fun out on the beach, and making the best out of the sunny day. After having a little volleyball match against each other, the two of them agreed to take a little break. This was when Connie told Isabel she was going to get something from the snack bar for both of them. When Connie came back, she presented the treats she got.
Connie: I'm back! And look what I got.
With the treats at hand, Connie showed Isabel two popsicles.
Isabel: Oh nice. I could use a popsicle right now. What flavour is it?
Connie: It's a flavour I had back when I was in Daybreak Town. It's sea salt flavoured.
Isabel: Oh so it's a sea salt flavoured popsicle.
Connie: Yeah. But it's called sea salt ice cream. Even though it's on a stick.
Isabel: Sea salt? Ice cream? Even though it's a popsicle?
Connie: Yeah they just call it that. But I can tell you it's really good. Give it a try.
Not wanting the popsicle to melt, Isabel took one of them from Connie, and had a quick taste of it. As she did, Isabel took a seat on the sandy beach, as Connie followed suit.
Isabel: Hmmmm. It's salty. But then it becomes sweet.
Connie: Do you like it?
Isabel: It's really good. Just gotta get used to it being called an ice cream though
Connie: Yeah I can understand that. But you know something? My leader of the party I was in, he used to have a saying whenever he went to get us these after a mission. He would always call it "The icing on the cake".
Isabel: Why would he say that?
Connie: I wasn't really sure. Even the other team members weren't sure why he would say that. But looking back now, I think he said that because it was a reward after a job well done for the day. But I could be wrong on that.
Isabel: Well regardless, at least you got a sweet treat in the end.
Connie: Yeah that's true.
Not wanting their treats to melt, Connie and Isabel continued to snack on their sea salt ice creams, all while watching everyone else having fun at the beach and swimming in the water.
I would like to thank
usagiforehead once again for this summer picture with both my character Connie and my friend
jurgenblue with their character Isabel :) . It's always fun to hang out and have fun with your friends at a nice day like this, especially when one of the friends is a Superhero, and no crime fighting has to be dealt with for the day ;) . But it's also great to see a character trying out sea salt ice cream for the first time (I know they call it ice cream even though it's a popsicle on a stick but that's Tatsuya Nomura for ya XD ). Not to mention that despite Connie needing to wear a thermal suit because of her cold body core temperature, it does work out in acting as a swimsuit as well ;) . Great work once again Usagi :D.

A nice relaxing moment enjoying so ice cream, and nice KH2 reference with the sea salt ice cream. :). Though I don't think 'sea salt' is an actual flavor on its own, it's used in other things to enhance their flavor, like 'sea salt caramel', the sea salt gives it a richer, more salty, buttery flavor. Atleast that is my understanding of it. :)
it really is a relaxing moment, and indeed so :). Glad you noticed the reference ;). Well yeah you would be absolutely right about that. But the truth is, it actually is a flavour, though unfortunately it's only in Japan :(. But you are right, the sea salt flavoured ice cream and chocolate is really tasty :p
