The final sunlight glimmers longingly through the horizon, diffusing across the sea and sky; the fire of the enchanting rays appear lost and uncoordinated against the drowning sink of the sea. The light scarcely caresses the two horses' coats, faintly illuminating their pale manes. Sailing from the North with the coastal breeze, the polar chill confirms that this is not the Summer's second wind, but its dying gasp. The waves, though not frantic, softly whip the dusky sand, as if in communion with the breeze. Yet the couple do not lament the coming of Winter, for they know the comforting heat of Summer does not truly perish; that it will return again...
