Grant is a man of many faces. Depending on who you are, and what he wants, he can put on a show. From a lighthearted, laid-back tycoon with dreams of making the post-semi-apocalyptic world a better place, to a ruthless businessman who shuts down any and all competition that threatens his corporate hegemony. But often, he is boisterous and slick. His word is law, and people follow in fear and respect. He also finds amusement that in spite of his company name, he was turned into an alligator.

His business started out modest enough, growing to a respectable and noticeable size, but quite far from megacorporate status it is now and especially difficult to have done so in the almost utopian world of Earth pre-Turning where large businesses would be kept in check. But with the world's governments in disarray, their resources spread thin and corporate law being one of their least concerns, the corporations that did survive the Turning grew rich and powerful, CrocBlock being no exception. Prior to the turning, Grant had personally invested some billions into the production of firearms and was looking to break into the military contractor market. His fortune would find that security is needed more than ever in this world in chaos, and CrocBlock Security Solutions world soon find itself a prized commodity in the global market, and become a new giant in the ashes of so many others that catered to the relative peace of the pre-Turning world.
