Hahaha! To each his own man :). As long as your brother is a responsible rider he should be pretty safe excluding idiots in cars.
Not sure what kind of hoops you need to jump through in Scotland (?)... but here... there is 2 days of training + an exam... then another 2 days of advanced training 3 months later. So I tend to find that motorcycle riders tend to be better at riding than about 80% of the driver population xD since they only have 3 written tests + one 30 min prac test... no real formal training. Thats here tho... as I said could be different over there

Yes he rides responsibly, but often complains about drivers who can even strike the rider with the wing mirror :/ And honestly, I don't know the exam rules in Scotland, I'm just studying here, my brother and all my family live in Poland. (but since many nations don't like Poles, I don't confess who I am) In Poland, every rider-to-be has to undergo a practical course (for driving licence it's 30 hours, I'm not sure how long it takes for the bike) and then he/she can take the official exam, which ony about a half of all participants passes. But there's a big aversion to bikers in Poland, car drivers often call them "kidney donors" due to the high death rate in the road accidents :( Not every rider is a "kidney donor", though, same as not every driver is drunk. But that's an unfair stereotype.
Haha yeah xD Kidney donors and/or Organ Donors xD
and you're right about it all being stereotype. It's just there is a percentage of riders who act like idiots that give us a bad name... as there is the same for drivers. I nearly get hit at least once a week <<;

Can't blame you there. From what I've read, the Ninja has the edge in performance. I've always been a Honda person myself, plus the fuel injection on the CBR is going to make it a little more convenient for commuting. Don't get me wrong, though, Kawasaki makes some great machines too, and green is my favorite color.
