A suiko, or water tiger. Sometimes mistaken for a kappa, these yokai are higher up in the hierarchy of water goblins, sometimes being put in charge of groups of kappa. They are covered in tough scales, with sharp claw-like protrusions on the knees. Once a year, suiko will lure a victim into the water to drink their blood.
