I like the feeling and warmth of this scene even more than original
The lighting definitely plays the major role in that but also the way he looks on the little human is just pure perfection in these terms - the gentleness that shines in his eyes and soft glance upon the human says everything more than thousand of words can do.
In original he looked more hungry and even a bit mischievous... like there was uncertainty what will happen next but here it is clear and bright as day that he means no harm to his little friend and pleased to the core being close to him and feeling his tender touch on his snout.
You are just a master of creating adorable arts with an effect of melting even the coldest hearts
