Isn't it embarrassing when you're minding your own business and you ened up caught inside the wrong side of a mirror? Such an inconvenience waiting for someone to come along and help you out. I don't know how people put up with it, sometimes.
Turns out the tricky part about doing a mirror picture is framing the mirror so it doesn't just look like a window. If I'd started out drawing this landscape instead of portrait I could have put some wall decorations or furniture that could be reflected in the mirror; instead it's just the baseboard trim and someone might miss that entirely.
The mirror started out as the back of a dressing table that I liked how I drew until I remembered that the rabbit's pose was incompatible with having the reflection of the table in there. So it was easier to change the mirror into a wall-hanging piece than to fix the rabbit's pose. And that's why this mirror has an arch on top.
