milkyway is a reincarnation of a poochyena named karma. in eri's quest to become strong enough to save kaitii, he journeyed through many of his past lives. rain, a skitty, was his first life and partner to karma. he adventured with them for a long time as a rescue team until one day he simply left without warning. his departure devastated rain and angered karma, who's grudge carried on in each life afterwards. finally, karma reincarnated into milkyway, 1000 years after karma's death. in this life karma and kaitii were the most attuned to their past, partly due to eri's reveal that he is a future incarnation of kaitii. despite kaitii and eri's bond, milkyway still bore their grudge against him. eri finally decides it has gone on long enough and approaches milkyway for a long overdue talk.
