Here it is, the finished pic. Sorry for quality, took it on my phone cause my scanner isn't working right. Oh, and as promised, here's the story to go with it.

Nate smiled to himself, standing on one of the eagles coming off of the corners of the Chrysler Building. The sun was setting, bathing New York city in a twilight glow. He had a pair of raven wings folded against his back as he looked off into the distance, seeing the Statue of Liberty off the coast. The wind made him tip to the side occasionally, which only caused a few ink colored feathers to get ruffled. He shifted a bit and stayed perfectly perched on the head of the steel eagle.
He started to zone out when he heard something behind him. Nate quickly made his wings disappear as he looked over his shoulder. A slight smile started to form, seeing a large black figure slightly crawling towards him. "Hello again, what brings you here?" the human asked.
A wide grin spread across its face, revealing rows of sharp fangs and a long tongue. "We have been watching you. We followed you," it answered him. Nate chuckled a bit before freezing up slightly, feeling one of its fingers under his chin.
"I take it you're the one people call Venom, am I right?" he asked.
Venom nodded, now crouched near Nate; slightly towering over the human. "We are," it hissed, the two white 'eyes' focused on the him.
"What is it you want then?"
"We want to know what you are....."
"I'm complicated....like you," Nate answered Venom, the slight smile forming again. Surprisingly, the wide grinning, massively muscular figure didn't make him afraid even the slightest; in fact, Venom was tame compaired to what he's seen in the Black Rose.
The sun continued to set as the two looked at one another as Venom tried to figure out what he found interesting in Nate.
