I finally watched the new Dune movie, my expectations were sky high and yet it managed to impress me,yeah I just loved it and I hope the next movies are good as this one.

I already had some previous knowledge about dune because I love to learn lore of random fictions, I discovered Dune when I was researching stories that games workshop "got inspired" from to create wh40k,I will not pretend I was like a superfan or anything, but I think dune is the only sci-fi without aliens that I like (I know in the dune canon there's some groups of humans that defy the definition of human and stuff but anyway) I also tried to enjoy Battletech...but its boring as fuck, once you take the mechs out of the equation there's nothing interesting left (well maybe the power armours?).

I think saving this movie to watch right now was perfect timing, since right now I'm working on Shattered World that is a story mostly focused on a desert,I usually takes years to watch a movie even if I'm hyped for it, by example Mad Max Fury road was released in 2015 and I only watched it in 2019 ... I have no idea why :U

And now thinking about my own story, Dan is probably kinda fucked in the shattered world, Imagine how awful is to have a jet black fur on a desert world with multiple suns, even with his multiple body enhancements muh busty boy must be boiling inside! XD


Also a random thought, isn't it ironic that the original author died and his son had to finish the story?...an story that is all about passing stuff through the next generations...I must not be the only one who noticed that.
