Lucky us the US military was the one to try it out first and spend some tie training guys to keep both eyes open. You can recreate it with any modern red dot by keeping the front cap closed. Also helps that the mount didn't hinder the iron sight. Can buy new ones for like 200 or less from the original manufacturer.
