Tried doodling another bit with  breakerfa's Deeter and I thank him for the permission to do that. Wanted to do a picture of Deeter somehow having boots on both hands and feet, since that's a fun scene and people like the fat-toed boots I draw, and discovered I couldn't draw this pose so I was satisfied it didn't look wrong.

Finally I resorted to standing in front of the mirror trying to do the pose myself and discovered the problem: this pose just inherently looks wrong. Try it yourself, you'll see. It doesn't look real even if you're doing it for real. I'm not denying I could have done this pose better, but the best it would be is still not that great. So I'll leave this up here as a cautionary tale and try not to worry about it and go on to other poses that maybe it's possible to do well instead.
