Rather than working on any of my other unfinished works, my muse felt the need to start yet another storyline. I hope I've done a fair portrayal of Jamie's thoughts and emotions. I was on the fence about publishing this because of that, but I ultimately decided to go ahead. Part of the reason for doing so was because of the sequel (or two) I've got in the works. While they don't hinge on the publication of this story, I think they will be richer for it.

This story is rated as general only because of the content. This should go without saying, but please respect the submission rating when commenting. For those who are unfamiliar with the Pony Express storylines, the other stories are rated mature for a reason. For those looking for a slightly more salacious sequel, there will be a time jump between this story and the next.
