My personal bet is he's still himself, and he would probably shoot...except the last time we passed by this space, there were protesters outside. So he'd be shooting them in full view of people that are ALREADY very angry at his organization, as such, he won't do it.

I don't know what'd be worse: if looking and seeing the idol drove him insane or if he saw nothing; meaning the idol is on the move.
