Wasn't intended to be disrespectful in any way, then again you can't post hi on the internet without upsetting someone. I do have my right to my own opinion. And if someone doesn't understand how I see the patron use. I'm always open for a calm and collective discussion. However the art itself is very lovely of course. Ever since Patron become a thing there is people like me that don't support certain uses of it then there are people that does it's a divided topic. However I also do see people that just have an infinite amount of money that lock all their commissions behind patreon use to, as I said it's a divided subject, people that don't and do support it.
I don't wish to distract by the wonderful piece of art you have created here. But to help you understand from my POV outside looking in. I see that there is multiple versions of an art piece which are fully believed was paid by the commissioner meaning you're making extra money off what they've paid for in full. However the information I do not have is if there's an agreement of extra art pieces if you can lock it behind a paywall in turn which funded the alts. As getting this information from artists is quite difficult because some are often hostile and wish not to talk about it. Leaving us that don't support it in the dark about how it actually works. I do have a right to my own opinion and everyone has a right not to like my opinion and has a right to their own. But as some feedback to the art work it is absolutely lovely and have watched you quite a while. I do apologize for turning a artwork comment section into a discussion. I'm happy to admit that. I do praise that I wasn't greeted with immediate hostility replied to with more of a comment seeming to know my interpretation. So it seemed and more than happyly to tell you how I and a lot see it.
In each of my publications of YCHs or commissions, I indicate that I reserve the right to use these works for further use on patreon, artbooks, etc. And if the commissioner does not agree with this, then he will not buy anything to separate into that part of the people who, like you, disagree. I still can't agree with your opinion, but in any case, thanks for the praise of my atrs~
Seeing the most recent post showing the not-safe-for-work version of the picture I was under the impression it was locked behind patreon only and will not be public. But given that its not, its not as bad as I make it out to be with patreon use but agree to disagree is the only option here. But yes I couldn't bash work bc someone uses a site I don't fully back, you have always done great work. If I ever com you ill keep that in mind, long as all versions was made public, the art books and junk id be fine with accepting. Nice to have a artist finally explain it better then avoiding the question. Thank you very much for a better look into it so I can see your side as well <3
