If there is anything to learn about wolves, especially wolves much bigger than you, try to stay out of their way. Otherwise you'll find yourself hard pressed deep into the ground after a massive boot comes and steamrolls over you. Not only does that leave a few marks, but dragging yourself up and out of the impression is going to take quite a bit of effort. Could be worse though, could have gotten stuck between those treads. But Dash might not get so lucky the second time around, sounds like that boot is already making a return trip...
