Episode 4: “Grudges, Pt.1”

(The scene starts with showing the interior of the Belladonna Family Home. Genji was leaning against a wall as he is thinking in his mind on what Spike told him with his arms cross. As Ghira was pacing back and forth looking at a piece of paper in hands, while his wife Kali, his daughter Blake, and Sun Wukong all wait for him to be ready. Nazumo then appears escorting Riley to meet with Genji as he wants to talk to him before the show starts)

Riley: Is it almost time? (Genji opens his eyes and looks at Riley)

Genji: Almost. (looks at Ghira) He is just reading his notes and checking that everything would come out ok.

Nazumo: I know the feeling. Being nervous to think that everyone had to look up to their leaders and hoping that what you would say would either impact them in some way, or it would blow you in the face. But regardless of what comes next, I know he will do just fine.

Genji: I can tell that much, just hope everyone would agree to this. But I believe they will do the right thing.

Riley: Same here, pal. It’s a shame I can’t be present to look out for any White Fang activities in the calling, but at least Garnet and Deelon will do my job for me. I just can’t wait till I can return to action. Just a few more days and I’ll be back to a hundred percent.

Genji: *giggle* I hope so to.

(He looks back to Ghira as he signals him that it is time)

Genji: Well that’s my queue. (looks to Nazumo and Riley) Wish me luck. (he walks away)

Nazumo: You’ll do fine.

Riley: You got this buddy.

(Genji approaches Ghira and nods to him that he is ready. With that Ghira turns and opens the doors as his family, Genji and Sun step out of the home to greet the crowd gathering outside. Others in attendance include Corsac and Fennec Albain, who are bowing their heads, as well as Saber Rodentia and other Menagerie Guards. Aslo Genji’s mother and father are also seen within the crowd)

(Spike looks on from afar underneath a palm tree with Logan at his side watching on unhappy. As Garnet standing on the podium looks behind her and sees Ghira, she looks back at the crowd and addresses the following with Deelon at her side)

Garnet: Soo on behalf of the Belladonna family and to all Faunus living in Menagerie, I present to you all your chieftain and leader, Ghira Belladonna.

(Garnet and Deelon steps aside as Ghira steps up to the podium. He thanks them both before they walk off the podium as he raises his hand to quiet the crowd down. Garnet and Deelon then spread out to the crowd to monitor for any White Fang intrusion)

Ghira: Thank you all for assembling here. I wanted to take time to address some of the rumors that have been circulating around our island. I believe that it is important for the people of this territory to understand the truth. No matter how you feel about the human race, I think we can all agree that the event now known as the Fall of Beacon was a tragedy. A tragedy that will set both man and Faunus-kind back. While the main aggressor is still unknown, we do have official confirmation that Adam Taurus... (he glares at the Albains) ... the leader of a powerful splinter group working inside the White Fang, was partially responsible for these attacks. His actions not only tarnished the reputation of an organization originally created to bring peace and equality to all, but to our entire race. With each day that this man remains unpunished, it becomes increasingly difficult to condemn those that look down upon us.

(The crowd starts murmuring among themselves, while Spike sits down and leans back at the palm tree. Ghira raises his hand again to quiet the crowd down)

Ghira: Recently, a spy from the same splinter group set their sights on this very home. My own daughter, Blake, and her friend did their very best to apprehend this individual. While they were unsuccessful after being physically assaulted and seriously injured, they were successful in obtaining the assailant's Scroll. (Ghira takes out the Scroll from inside his coat) With this, we have been able to ascertain that Adam Taurus has plans to overthrow the current leader of the White Fang, Sienna Khan, and take over the reins himself)

(At this, the crowd starts to loudly murmur in concern, while Spike looks on with concerned about the issue. Logan still looks unhappy as he is sole staring at Blake)


Ghira: His radical plans do not stop there, the documents on this scroll proclaim his next target to be Haven Academy and its attached CCT Tower. Their plan is to strike on the last full moon before the beginning of the Fall semester, roughly two months from today. I have sent my swiftest messenger to the government of Mistral, but I believe we have a greater responsibility. My relationship with the White Fang has been... an interesting one. Years ago, I led the organization to help try and create a world where I, and every Faunus who wished, could walk alongside the human race. And while I believe we made great strides toward this goal, it was made clear to me that the people both in and out of the White Fang wanted faster results. So I stepped down, and Sienna Khan was appointed as my successor. It's true that I do not fully condone many of her methods. What I do condone is what Sienna fights for: the idea that the Faunus and humans are, and should be, equal. Adam Taurus does not seem to have that goal in mind. What he has done benefits no one but himself. I think it's time that the Faunus showed the world that we are equals! Time that we snuff out this splinter group, and restore the White Fang to what it once was!

(The crowd begins to cheer at this remark. Spike claps for him before Logan sees this act, causing Spike to stop clapping. As Deelon and Garnet are keeping an eye on the crowd, Garnet sees Spike and Logan from afar. At first she wanted to warn Deelon and the others, but seeing that they are simply watching and not interfering she decides not to engage, but still keeping an eye on them)

Ghira: To do this, I think the answer is clear, we must go to Haven and protect it at all costs!

(At this, the crowd suddenly stops cheering, showing some hesitance. Spike stands up from this as he is shocked to hear of Ghira’s response. Ghira sees this and clears his throat)

Ghira: Before we proceed any further, I'd like to invite my daughter to come and share her story. Not only as a former member of the White Fang but also as a survivor of the Fall of Beacon.

(Blake looks at Genji as he give her a thumbs up before she steps up to the podium and faces her father)

Ghira: (reassuring) You can do this.

(Suddenly, a familiar voice yells out from the crowd)

Ilia: TRAITORS!!

(Ilia uncloaks herself, wearing her Grimm mask and clenching her teeth angrily. Blake gives a surprised look before glaring back at her. Sun glares at her intensely)

Sun: Ilia...

(Genji surprised at Ilia’s appearance started to glare at her as he grits his teeth. This causes Spike to be in shock and Logan enjoying the show)

Spike: (talking quietly to himself) Ilia, what are you doing?

Ilia: Cowards... After everything the humans have done to us, everything they've put us through, you're asking us to help them?!

Ghira: I know we haven't been treated fairly...

Ilia: Where was their help when the Dust companies treated our people like slaves?! Where was their help when Kingdoms hunted Faunus just for being who they are?! Where was my help when my parents were killed in a Dust mine?! WHERE?!

Ghira: Young lady, progress takes patience and cooperation!

Ilia: The Belladonnas are the worse kind of Faunus! They want us to work with the same people that are trying to hold us down! If you truly, truly want to help your people... (as she speaks, Sun sneaks through the crowd behind her) ... now is the time to support Adam, not the Belladonnas! He will bring about the future that you deserve. And if you are unwilling to fight, know that the White Fang will do it for you!

(In that moment offscreen, Genji’s voice was heard but with a different tone)

Genji: (offscreen) That we deserve? (As Ilia looks on in shock, Blake turns to look at Genji as he his growling in anger and his eye color turn amber and his fangs sharpened)

Blake: (shocked) Genji?

(Everyone was looking at Genji as his manner was changed from the site of Ilia, thus the White Fang being here)

Genji: That “we” deserve?! (began to aporach Ilia) You don’t know anything about what we deserve.

Blake: (Places her hand on his shoulder) Genji, please calm down—

(Blind to his anger, he shrugs Blake hand off his shoulder as he continues to proceed towards Ilia. With his slow approach the people began to walk back, afraid of Genji’s “Feral mood”. This shocks his parents the most as they look on in horror)

Genji: You don’t have any idea of how some of us had to endure a lot of grief and sadness because of what you and the White Fang are doing to ruin our lives!

Ilia: (stands defiant) The Belladonnas are the problem here and Adam is the key to bring—

Genji: (his voice change as he shouts at her) DON’T YOU DARE BLAME THEM FOR THIS!!!

(As Ilia gets spooked by this, Spike looks on and decides to take action)

Spike: Damn you, Ilia. (looks at Logan) Stay here and don’t do anything stupid.

(He puts on his mask and rushes towards Ilia’s aid while Logan, unhappy on Spikes orders, reluctantly obeys his commands. Genji continues his approach as his nails began to extend out of his gloves)

Genji: A lot of our people had suffered because of Adam’s actions. To think that his words would give us hope that we can change. (Ilia see his aggressive manner getting worse and started to feel fear underneath her mask) (she put up her hands as she slowly back off) But it didn’t! The only thing that he ever gave us was nothing but pain and suffering and his action would lead our kind to extinction. CAN YOU EVEN SEE THROUGH HIS LIZE?!

(In that moment, Spike gets in between Ilia and Genji, puts his hands out and tries to resolve the issue)

Spike: Ok you two, that is enough.

Ilia: (lowers her arms) Spike, what are you doing here? You’re not supposed to—

Spike: (looks at Ilia) I’m trying to save your ass, you dummy. (looks at both of them) Ok. I know we may have step on the wrong foot here so let us sort this thing out before—

Genji: Before what? BEFORE WHAT! All she is saying that we should follow a madman and try to initiate a war between the human!

Spike: (looks at Genji) Genji, please calm down. Your scarring everyone here.

Genji: No you calm down! To think that you, of all people, would ever understand!

Spike: I do understand. But this hostility isn’t going anywhere—

Genji: (he ignores his claims and continues talking) You two weren’t there when he attacked Beacon, you weren’t there when the White Fang assaulted the student. You weren’t even there when Adam nearly killed Sebastian and Yang with Grime killing some of the students there!

(Spike looks on in shock of Genji’s claims. Akari and Satoshi look on at their son as his anger is getting worse, believing that it would lead to him lashing out. So they quickly acted as they go through the crowd to try and calm their son down. Garnet sees this as well and signals Deelonto move in to calm Genji down. Riley and Nazumo look on through the window inside the house as they look on in horror of what Genji is becoming. Knowing that his injuries aren’t yet healed, Riley decides to do the same and move in towards his best friend. Nazumo chases after him)

Genji: (his voice completely changed) You… don’t… know… NOTHING about our grief, our pain, our sufferings for what the White Fang as done to ruin us even more. And you still believe that Adam would lead our people, even if it drives us to extinction, DO YOU!

Spike: Genji, if you please be reasonable and—

(However he stop talking as he sees Genji in a state that is beyond reasoning as he growls to them in rage. He lowers his hands as he looks on in shock and disbelieve)

Spike: Genji?

(As Genji was about to claw into his friends face and Logan, seeing this and pulling out the Knight Rider System to transform, Sun jumps in and stop Genji from going to far)

Sun: STOP!

(Sun leaps out of the crowd toward Ilia and Spike, but Ilia uses her weapon to get out of the way and flee. When Sun lands, he looks around to see where she has gone, but no sign of her is found. Spike remains for a moment as Genji stops himself from attacking. With worriedness in his eyes he tries to talk to Genji)

Spike: Genji, I—

Saber Rodentia: Capture him and after her!!

(Knowing that he can’t stay much longer he flees before he could be captured. Saber and the rest of the Menagerie guards move to chase down Ilia and Spike, while Corsac and Fennec exchange evil smiles. Logan seeing that engaging forward would lead to some issues, and knowing that both Corsac and Fennec are present, he puts away the driver and flees the scene. Sun proceeds to calm Genji down)

Sun: Well that’s was… something. But at least you didn’t attacked them in front of the—

(But as he turns around, Genji (still blind by his rage) grabs him by the neck. This spooks everyone watching, including the Belladonna family)

Sun: Ack! Genji—what are you doing? Ack!

(Garnet and Deelon intersects him and grabs Genji’s arms and tries to pull him away from Sun)

Garnet: Genji, please stop this!

Deelon: We’re worried about you, mon! You need to stop this!

(With full force he shrugs Garnet and Deelon off of him and the fall back to the floor. He proceeds to use his other hand to grab Sun’s neck and starts squeezing his throat. As Sun is gasping for air, Blake steps in and tries to let go of his hold on Sun’s neck)

Blake: Genji, please! This is not like you. You need to snap out of it!

(Still blinded by his rage and his animal instinct taking a hold of him, he lets go of one of his hands, pushes Blake away and as she tries to go in, he slaps her in the face with the back of his hand; causing her to fall to the ground. As she goes in shock while touching her left cheek, she look back at Genji as he continues to choke Sun’s life. As he was about to end Sun’s life, Riley calls out to his best friend, which stops him from killing Sun in a blind rage)

Riley: GENJIIII!!!

(He stops choking Sun as he turns to look at Riley. When he sees him he finally calms down, his eye sight returns to normal and his eye color return back to a jade color. When he looks back to Sun he is shock to realize that he is choking him. He lets go of him as he collops to the ground and gasping for air)

Genji: Sun… I—

(He looks around and sees everyone looking at him and being afraid of him. After that, he looks at Deelon, Garnet and then Blake as he realizes that he has done something wrong to them. He proceeds to look at his hands and sees his nails retracting back into his gloves and he goes to a state of shock. Has he continues breathing heavily, he looks forward to see his parents coming out of the crowd and looks at their son with worriedness in their eyes. With a final look back to Blake and realize what he has done, he rushes back inside of the house; ashamed of what his action lead him to do. Ghira tries to stops him; Genji pushes him away with his shoulder)

(He runs past Kali as he enters the house in shame, while Kali looks on worried for Genji’s well bein. Riley and Nazumo looks on as Riley was still in shock that Genji had something like that within him. With Nazumo looking sad for Genji, she began to close her eyes, clenches her hands together and began praying for him. In the background, a familiar owl with a halo above its head looks on the events that happens as the scene is fix on its face)

(The scene then cuts back to Ruby and the group as the scene shows Olinda’s angry face as he call Blaze out)

Olinda: MUDERER!

(The scene pans out to show the barrel of her sniper rifle as she takes the shot. It follows the bullet that was meant for Blaze, but It combust in front of his face cause by his semblance)

Blaze: *sigh* This is not what I had in mind when being greeted by someone.

Oscar: I’m so sorry, Tim. I don’t know what got into—

Jaune: Oscar, get out of the way!

(As Jaune jump in to strike Blaze down with his sword, Oscar dodges out of the way, but the blade was stopped by Axel’s magnums as he his holding Jaune at bay)

Blaze: Huh… it’s strange.

Jaune: (Angry) What do you mean strange!

Blaze: To think that you people would forgive and forget. But it seems that you still holding your grudges real tight to you hearts.

(With a snap of Blaze’s fingers, Axel pushes Jaune away while put up a stance as he braces for a fight)

Jaune: Ugh! I’ll show you—

Fukushima: (offscreen) That is enough, Mr. Arc.

(Jaune stops and everyone looks outside. As Blaze and Axel turn as well they see Fukushima standing at the entrance of the house)

Fukushima: That is not how you would greet my guest.

Jaune: But sir, this is—wait… did you say guest?

Fukushima: Indeed. I was the one who invited him.

Everyone inside the house: What?!

Blaze: Soo… you’re the one who sent that messenger (shows him Amber’s staff) and the one to give him this (puts it away).

Fukushima: That’s correct. I was hoping it is delivered to you safety. Not to mention that we have met once before if you recall.

Blaze: No I do not recall. But you look… seems so familiar.

Olinda: (calling him out from the second floor while still in sniping position) What are you doing, sir? This kid is a menace and he needs to die!

Fukushima: I understand your concerns, but—

Olinda: But nothing, I won’t allow him to wonder Remnant. I’m taking the shot—

Fukushima: Ms. Kim don’t you dare do it. If you pull that trigger I would be force to leave and sort this another day.

(Olinda, fuming in rage of the sigh of Leo’s murderer, ignores his words and takes action)

Olinda: Screw this! You want to come back later, fine. But no one will take this from me ever—

(In that moment, Ozpin (temporarily taking control over Oscar) smack her in the face and confiscates her sniper rifle. She looks back to see who it was and its non-other than Ozpin)

Ozpin: Olinda Kim, you disappoint me.

(Olinda looks in show to hear that from Ozpin himself. Fukushima defends her as he comes inside of the house)

Fukushima: Don’t blame her for her actions. We all have something inside us that would defy our order. The moment I saw her in my office I knew that she is a troubled soul; lost in her own anger for the loss of someone dear to her. Revenge… is quite a motivator, but could lead them down a dark path that they can’t return from. Miss Kim, killing him won’t bring him back nor ending his life would bring you happiness, so don’t let your heart dive too deep into the dark, or you become something you’re afraid to end up.

(In that moment, Olinda realizes her mistake and calms herself down. Ozpin offers his hand and she takes it to help her up from the floor. Afterwards, Raiden talks to him)

Raiden: Mr. Fukushima, please… don’t leave us. We need your guidance; we need to know what’s going on.

Fukushima: Hmm… (ponders) Ok. I’ll stay, but (he points to Blaze and Axel) they stay too, because they are involved as much as you do.

Jaune: But why? This kid is—

Fukushima: I know that he is responsible alongside Cinder for the fall of Beacon, but his interference had a lot of meaning to this.

Nora: But why? What he is to you?

Fukushima: *sigh* (looks down as he rubs his forehead before looking back at the group) Because he is the “key” to this mystery.

(Everyone was confused to his statement, while Blaze crosses his arms and raise’s and eyebrow. The scene cuts to everyone sitting down, Blaze and Fukushima not wearing their coats and Falco coming in with some drinks for everyone)

Fukushima: Soo… now that everyone is calm down. We can finally start with what’s going on out here. From what you just witness I can imagine that all of you have question’s (looks at Ozpin) with what the former headmaster told you.

Ruby: What? Wait, you know—

Fukushima: Of course I do. It would have taken a slow tortes to figure that out. Since during the Vytal Festival, I felt something within Ozpin that got me curious. I felt another soul in there, but couldn’t familiarize myself who. But regardless, I deduce that he’s been doing this for a long time, and who know how many times he’s been body hopping form one vessel to the next. But that’s hardly necessary to talk about, right?

Ozpin: Indeed. Right now we need to focus on the securing the Relic of Knowledge.

Fukushima: Sorry if I interrupt you there but… really do we need to worry about does artifacts? What we need to worry about is the return off—(but he stop before he says anymore)

Raiden: (curious) The return of who?

Fukushima: (coughs) Ahem. Sorry I was carry away and was about to spill all the beans there. So before we come to terms with that… let’s talk about the Umbra Beast. These creatures, of which Falco names them so (he receives a drink form Falco), thank you (looks back at the group). Those creatures as somewhat similar to the Creatures of Grim, their killing machine and they show no mercy to no one. However, their one thing that separates the similarities between them… and that is… they have no soul, they have no physical form, they have no minds or intellect of their own wills. They are nothing but mindless killing machines that obeys the commands of their creator and they do it without question.

Miller: And who is this creator that made the things that attacked us? Was it Damocles, the Dark Knight?

Fukushima: No. The one you have encountered was merely a servant of its master, and that master is called… Arvaros.

(Everyone eyes goes wide of hearing the name of someone that is worse than the one Ozpin claims. Hearing this, Blaze is intrigued about his topic. At night, Edgar slowly regains consciousness as he wake up in a tent. As he regains consciousness he straightens forward as he gasps in confusion. In the room, Jolt turns to see the boy waken up from his sleep he stops preparing Edgar’s drink)

Jolt: Oh? I see you finally woken up from you slumber. For a minute I thought that you would be in a coma or something?

Edgar: Ugh… Where am I? How long was I out?

Jolt: Well by the state that you were when we found you in the crash site, I could say you were out for an hour at most; since it’s night time at the moment. As of where you at now, your currently located in our campsite. We brought you in at the request of Mr. Knight.

Edgar: Mr. Knight? Ugh (places his hand on his head) Who the—I… remember… that we were on a ship heading towards Mistral. We had to make a crash landing due to the Queen Lancer and… (he remembers about Weiss) Weiss! Weiss! Where is she! I need to (as he tries to get of the bed he grans in pain from his abdomen) Ack!

Jolt: (approaches him with the tray with his food, drink and medicine) Easy, easy. You’re not fully healed.

Edgar: But I have to. I must find her if she is—Ack!

Jolt: (He falls to the floor as he clinches his abdomen. Jolt rolls his eyes, places the tray down and helps him back onto the bed) Look, you’re not going anywhere in the state that you’re in. You need to recover first, and then you can find Weiss. But don’t worry she is in good hands.

Edgar: Really? Is she ok? Is she alright?

Jolt: She is. We placed her in a special place so you don’t need to worry. (he grabs the tray from the floor and places it in front of him) Right now, you need to eat and take you meds. I’ll go and tell Mr. Knight that you ready to see him.

(He walks away. As he pulls the tent open, Edgar tells him)

Edgar: Umm… thank you. You’re… to kind.

Jolt: *sigh* You shouldn’t. I mean it. I’m just a boy who wants to help. Now eat up and take your meds.

(With that he leaves the tent, leaving Edgar to eat up and take his medicine. As he does he looks around the tent and notice that is a little large than an ordinary tent. Believing that this is a tent made by someone, he looks around from the view from his bed. He sees a lot of trophies and other collectables. But when he sees the next item it is a Schnee family crest. He puts the spoon down as he look at it. He then look at shelf containing some dust crystals that belong to the dust company, even their an open wooden crate that has more dust inside)

(As he looks on surprised the last thing he sees to his left a photo frame on a deck next to a lap that has him, his mother and his father in the picture)

Edgar: That’s… then… who is this—

(Before long, someone come into the tent and its none other than the Warrior of the Mist. Edgar looks on speechless as he meets the figure from the myths the people in Remnant talks about. As the Warrior looks on at Edgar, he proceeds to walk to his right and approach a desk that has a wooden busted head. Edgar looks on as he proceed to place his sheathed sword on the counter and he takes off his helmet)

(Edgar’s eyes go wide to the reveal of The Warrior of the Mist’s identity as he places the helmet into the busted head and after that he breathe for a moment and later turns to face him, to face his son)

Frost: Are you alright, my son?

Edgar: (shocked) Dad?

(Frost sees his son’s reaction and places his hands on his hips)

Frost: What’s wrong? It’s like you seen a ghost. I know the feeling (approaches his son), seeing you dead father alive and well would leave someone speechless. (sits close to him) But I’m glad that you’re alive and well. (Edgar doesn’t say a word as he is speechless) *giggle* Look at you (places his hand on Edgar’s face) You grown so much since the last time I saw you. Not only that, you have been improving your skill and protecting a Schnee family member. (lets go of his face) You have indeed grown so much. I’m proud of you.

(As Edgar reaches out to touch his father’s face he has no words to say for all the mix emotion he is feeling. Instead of a hand placing on his father’s face, Frost gets slap in the face by his own son)

Frost: Ugh! (places his hand on his slapped cheek)It’s good to see you two.

Edgar: Dad you old fool, you had me and mom worried. We thought you died.

Frost: Yeah, I get that a lot. And I would imagine that you have a lot of question regarding it.

Edgar: You bet I do. Why didn’t you tell us that you were still alive? Why, why didn’t you come back? There’s so much things that I--

Frost: I know and all will be answered in due time. But right now… relax.

(Edgar began to relax while his father looks at his son’s hair)

Frost: What’s with the new look?

Edgar: (Notice that he is referring to his hair) Oh that, well… I had to look more adequate while in the manor grounds.

Frost: I could imagine. We always have to present ourselves that reflect our duties. I could guess that they treated you well?

Edgar: Well… most for the time. Everyone treated me in good faith, but…

Frost: Let me guess… Jacques Schnee, right? (His son nods) Hmph! Figures. That man has bad taste in good people some time; unless if it’s for his own interest then he will look down upon them with little respect.

Edgar: (dosent tell what Jacques did to him) Yeah, right. (he changes the subject) Dad, be honest with me.

Frost: What is it?

Edgar: (he looks into his father’s eyes) Why didn’t you come back?

(Frost turns and looks at his helmet. He looks at it deeply before he explains to his son)

Frost: (closes his eyes) Hmm… That night. I was returning form a scouting mission; a mission given to me by Miss Willow. It’s just some Grimm moving around the outskirts of the tundra, but nothing that would raise an alarm. I was arriving back home, until I was surrounded.

Edgar: Surrounded? By who?

Frost: (stay’s silent for a moment) By the Thieves of Atlas. (this shock Edgar) I knew that the Sultan has been acting strange over the past couple of years after his wife died. Maybe because of that… his heart has dove too far into the dark and letting himself be blinded by his actions. He wanted to get rid of me so they can take you under their wings and use you for their nefarious games. I’m glad you didn’t go too far with their schemes and realized sooner rather than later.

Edgar: But the thieves have been redeemed and reformed by Süleyman. They’re not the bad people you looked upon before.

Frost: I know. I always kept in touch with him as he kept tabs with me regarding the status of his father. I was even the one who encouraged him to overthrown his own father and prevent from any further bloodshed.

Edgar: You did that?!

Frost: Yes. I haven’t lost my connections after my false assassination.

Edgar: (returns back to the subject) Then, what happen?

Frost: I did what I could to stay alive against overwhelming odd, but I was defeated. They left me for dead and took one of my armor pieces, (looks at his son) the one Süleyman entrusted to you. (looks away) I was bleeding out in the cold snow, waiting for the chill night take me, but in that moment… someone came to my rescue…

(The scene slowly transitions to a flashback of Frost near death in the cold night. Located in the tundra outside of Mantle, Frost his holding down his stab wound as he is in agony. As death was near his end, someone approaches him; only her legs where visible)

Edgar: And who was it?

(Has frost looks upward, his vision was clearing up and sees it was Raven Branwen (unmasked))

Frost: Raven Branwen.

Edgar: Branwen? Why was she there?

(Branwen approaches him and lifts him up from the snow)

Frost: After she saved me, she told me she was in the area on her own missions when she found me wounded in the snow.

(She then uses her semblance to cut a portal so she takes Frost with her. As the portal closes behind them, the scene returns back to the present)

Frost: She is well aware of my deeds as one of the Heroes of Remnant so either she took me for her own benefit or for my pity. But whatever is the case, I owe her my life so I stayed with her to repay my debt.

Edgar: I see. But that doesn’t answer my question.

Frost: I know. I didn’t come back after my debt was paid. But there is a reason for it. During my time spent with her… I was uncovering some “secrets” that was hidden from everyone in Remnant.

Edgar: Secrets? What secrets?

Frost: Well… secrets that would make someone question everything they ever knew about our history. At first I didn’t believed it, but the more I dove into it more, the more question aroused. I was lost in thought upon discovering what I learned… and yet I still struggling to understand it all. But… the truth is this. Someone or something wanted to hide this information form everyone. I don’t know who or I don’t know why, but the reason for it… (looks back at his son) this could lead to chaos upon our world.
