The calm and peace before the hours of frustration searching for a phantom code error, only to finally find a colon in place of a semi colon, or one letter not capitalized, or two spaces instead of one, god knows where amongst thousands and thousands of lines of code.
ye ye i know that, but programming isn't stressful at all https://i.redd.it/scupjyjwyqs11.jpg
It depends, I guess. I remember being in a Networking/IT class for two years, back in the mid 2010s, and part of what we learned on the side was game programming. I'm sure programming gets much easier with experience, but at least for a bunch of newbies, it was a disaster. I remember several times, I would get done with my work for the day (a rare thing, we were always overloaded with busy work), and I'd use my time left roaming the room looking for people stuck trying to find code errors - there was always at LEAST one person. I wasn't much better at finding errors than they were, but two sets of eyes and two brains doubled the chances. If there's one thing I really retained from that experience, it's the nightmare of code errors.
