i like both drawings, but i've noticed something about both dads.

this one is more manly and with a clear bulge but a little less muscles, while the other looks (in my opinion) like a male build from a female body, they have more curves hips and less bulge and look like they have some bigger butt, thicker thighs. their face is also more stream lined i think?

may i ask why this is? is there a meaning behind it?

(side note: sorry if i'm going too deep into this, and also i really like both drawings and the detail put in them.

That usually how I design characters, make some more feminine others not so much. More manly some less.

Ill usually go with an idea of a look and make variations, that character actually had 8 variation from tall lanky, to short and stocky, only two got fleshed out and colored.

This one being the winner.

Who knows, I have art that never saw the light of day.
