J'rem are about the size of a small horse, and are mammals. They have silky fur, except where the 'scale' like plates on the chest and on the back where the spines are are at. Further the mane goes all the way down the body. J'rem have twelve eyes all together and a totally split tongue with a sort of a stinger on each side. They do have 'wings' but they are more transparent and seem more like a mirage and thus, can't take flight. Their paws are feline-like, where they can extend and retract claws. In total height they are no bigger than a small arabian horse. They don't have a true species' name, just a name in the common tongue which translates to "Sacred Beast"
